Wildflowers

Find the perfect photo op, or just stroll through the beautiful flowers at Baldwin Lake Ecological Reserve or  Bluff Lake Reserve. Bluff Lake Reserve was the location of the original The Parent Trap movie, and is a breathtakingly beautiful location. With towering pines, a 20-acre lake, a meadow, and majestic outcrops of quartz monzonite, it’s a place you won’t want to miss. At Baldwin Lake, the Pebble Plains showcase small but mighty wildflowers, a rare habitat found only in Big Bear. May is the best time to view either of these beautiful preserves, but they are lovely all spring.
